This academic year, in addition to building on our best ever exam results of summer 2026, we are committed to providing an exciting KS3 experience that has enrichment activities at its heart. Listening to and acting upon student voice will also be central to achieving this goal.
At Lift Sir Herbert Leon, our focus is on ensuring our students rise to the challenges that are set for them on a day by day and lesson by lesson basis. As you would expect, the challenges set are ambitious ones because we know that students thrive when they regularly experience the fantastic sense of achievement that accompanies success as a result of their deep thought and determination. However, very importantly, the challenges that are set extend beyond the distinct teachings of each subject, and also focus on every student’s character development. Our 4 values of ambition, determination, respect and kindness provide a very strong foundation for this.
We know our parents and carers want their children to achieve the very highest academic standards possible. As a staff, we are completely dedicated to ensuring that this is exactly what happens: constantly seeking to identify and remove any barriers, whilst recognising and rewarding every stage of success.
We believe that the more effectively we can work in partnership with our families and the wider community, the greater our impact will be. To this end, we pride ourselves on welcoming feedback and responding to it promptly, whilst we are also always seeking to increase and strengthen our connections with other organisations and individuals who can help support our students to become successful and happy in everything they do.
